DETER Partner Manager Supports & Participates in NCL’s Official Launch with NRF

Goran Scuric, DETER Partner Manager, recently traveled to Singapore to assist the National Cybersecurity R&D Laboratories (NCL) Team with preparing for their official launch, for the National Research Foundation of Singapore (NRF), that took place on February 21, 2017. The NRF funds NCL (since November 2015) and is the equivalent of the NSF (National Science Foundation) in the United States.

DETER Team Travels to the Lion City to Work with International Partners

Terry Benzel and Goran Scuric  – DETER PI and DETER Partner Manager –  traveled to Singapore in early November to work with International DETER Partners at the Singapore National Cyber Lab (NCL) being developed by the National University of Singapore (NUS), under sponsorship of the Singapore National Research Foundation (NRF). The NCL is based on the DETERLab cyber security testbed.

Israel’s CREATE Expands and Evolves DETERLab’s Community

CREATE, Cyber Research, Experiment and Test Environment, is now operational and it is run by the Israel Inter-University Computation Center (IUCC) at their cyber unit. CREATE is the result of a strategic partnership between the DETER Project, the Israel National Cyber Bureau (INCB), and IUCC. It is a localized version, also referred to as a cluster, of the USC Information Sciences Institute’s (ISI) DETERLab cyber experimentation facility that runs DETER Core.
